9h : nous apprenons que la date de cessation des paiements a été reportée à nouveau. Initialement prévue le 23/10, elle a été reportée au 28/10. Nous sommes donc à compter de ce jour en cessation des paiements et Avon a 45 jours pour le déclarer au Tribunal. Mais aucune date n'est fixée.


Cette nouvelle a deux conséquences pour les salariés :

• Elle décrédibilise la voix des salariés qui annonçaient depuis le 03 octobre une date de cessation des paiements au 23/10. La direction joue la montre face aux salariés.
• Avon met ses propres employés en difficulté financière et qui plus est, à l'approche de Noël. Plus la date de cessation des paiements est déclarée tardivement, moins il est sûr que l'AGS prenne le relais rapidement pour payer les salaires des employés.
  Grosso modo les employés d'Avon ne sont pas sûrs d'être payés en novembre et tant que la cessation des paiements n'a pas été déclarée, l'AGS ne peut pas prendre en charge les salaires.

9 am: the employees learn that the date of cessation of payment was delayed again. Initially planned for the 23^rd of October, it was delayed to the 28^th of October. Therefore, today, we are officially in a state of cessation of payments and Avon has 45 days to register it at the Commercial Court. But the date has not been confirmed yet.

This news affects the employees in two ways:

• This news discredits the voice of the employees, who said on the 3^rd of October that the cessation of payments would be registered on the 23^rd of October. The Global management is procrastinating against the employees.
• Avon is putting its employees in a very difficult financial situation, whereas Christmas is coming. The later the cessation of payments will be registered at the Commercial Court, the later the AGS  (French wage guarantee scheme) will be able to pay the salaries of the employees.
  Roughly speaking, the employees of Avon France don’t have any guarantee that they will be paid in November, and as long as the cessation of payments isn’t registered, the salaries cannot be paid by the Wage Guarantee Scheme.

In conclusion, this is a good Monday morning.
