Je ne peux pas croire qu'une société pour les femmes, dirigée par une femme, puisse avoir un comportement aussi diamétralement opposé à l'éthique qu'elle affiche depuis toujours. Je me sens manipulée et trahie.

I cannot believe that a company for women, managed by women, has a behavior which is diametrically opposed to the ethic that it has been exhibited since the beginning. I feel manipulated and betrayed.

La dépêche parle de 650 postes supprimés en sus des 400 déjà annoncés en début d'année.
The news announces 650 jobs which are about to be cut off, in addition of the 400 already announced earlier this year.

Le communiqué de presse souligne la volonté d'Avon de faire des actions supplémentaires pour réaliser des économies. Le projet SMT, projet pilote au Canada, ne sera pas poursuivi. Il s'agissait d'un projet de réorganisation mondiale du business sur plusieurs années, notamment sur la relation des Ambassadrices avec l'entreprise.

The press release outlines that Avon is willing to have additional step towards cost savings. The SMT project, piloted in Canada, won't be taken further. The project was  a multi-year global initiative, which enabled changes to the way Representatives interact with the company.
