Moi qui depuis mon enfance baigne dans AVON….. Mon père, ma mère, mon frère et ma sœur y ont travaillé. Ma mère a été licenciée au bout de 26 ans d’ancienneté suite à la fermeture du site de Rantigny (elle était sur chaine « au shipping ») 1ère déception.
J’ai également travaillé sur chaine pour AVON pendant 1 an, juste avant cette fermeture (fin de contrat). Aujourd’hui ma mère est décédée suite à une tumeur au cerveau et pour rien au monde j’aurais voulu qu’elle voie ce que nous vivons depuis le 3 octobre chaque jour chez AVON. Le jour ou nous avons su que c’était la fin pour AVON, j’ai eu l’impression de revivre le décès de ma mère (2ème déception).
De voir comment nous sommes considérés après tant de dévouement pour AVON, j’ai 13 ans d’ancienneté, et j’ai vu la société se dégrader au fur et à mesure des années « elle qui était SI HUMAINE, SI FAMILIALE ».
Nous demandons juste un PSE décent !!! 3ème déception.

I never thought that Avon Company would treat us like that !!!
I grew up surrounded by AVON…My father, my mother, my brother, my sister used to work for Avon. My mother was laid-off after 26 years working there, with the closing of the Rantigny site ( she was at the shipping department) – 1st disappointment
I also worked in the warehouse for Avon during 1 year, just before the site was shut down. Today, my mother passed away because of a brain tumour and I wouldn’t like her to see what is happening daily here since the 3rd of October. The day I learnt it was the end of Avon in France, I had the impression to live my mother’s death again. (2nd disappointment).
To see how we are regarded after so much devotion for Avon, I have been working here for 13 years, and I have seen this company deteriorated years after years “ it was a HUMAN, FAMILY –like company”.
We just ask for our redundancy payments!!! ( 3rd disappointment)
